The purpose of this site is to coordinate the grassroots Huckabee supporters out there that want to help make phone calls to people in Michigan, South Carolina, and Florida.
The idea is that alot us can use our cell phones on the weekends for free (but you can use whatever phone you want), so we are going to have several "drives" of Huckabee supporters from around the nation making calls to these states on the weekends. The calls will be made to registered Republicans, and we will be asking for them to vote for Mike. Also we should ask them to visit MikeHuckabee.com
If they already support Mike, we will remind them of their Primary date, and ask that they go vote!

80 calls is a good number. I set my goal at 75 per - - 100 was a bit much for many and 75-80 is a good comfortable number

Can you clarify how you will forward the name list for calls? We are having the Morgantown for Huckabee Meetup gathering Thursday Jan 10 and I will be sure to share this information/website. This is a good idea and I hope you can generate sufficient numbers of callers to make this work.
Excellent idea! My wife and I drove from Ohio to the Huckabee Iowa HQ to volunteer on the phones for a couple of days. We made hundreds of calls - both to Huckabee supporters and to undecideds. It was a thrilling experience knowing that I was having a direct influence on helping Mike win the Caucus!
May I share some calling tips...
1. Emphasize how critical this election is - and their vote!
2. Smile. Be genuine, enthusiastic, and positive.
3. Be you. Don't read directly from a script - it won't have anywhere near the influence that a sincere conversation will have.
4. Be polite. Even if you feel that you haven't made much headway on the call, your being friendly will positively influence them.
5. Have at least a basic understanding of Governor Huckabee's policies - especially those that he is being unfairly attacked on. It helps to have a brief summary written in front of you of each policy.
6. If unsure of an answer, just refer the person to 'The Truth Squad' on MikeHuckabee.com
7. Even if they are a Huckabee supporter, remind them how important their vote is because the race is so tight - and check that they will definitely be voting. ALSO, ASK THEM TO CALL THEIR FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS, RELATIVES TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO VOTE.
8. If the person needs a ride to the polling location, take their contact details and pass them on to the Huckabee Michigan HQ who will get in touch with them.
9. Ideally you want to catch the person on the phone but leaving a voice mail is definitely better than nothing. Make sure you ask them to visit MikeHuckabee.com on your message.
10. If the person has work commitments, says they're too old, or it's just inconvenient for them to vote etc... remind them how critical this election is and that one day they will be able to stand proud that they helped elect Governor Huckabee to be the next President of the United States. EVERY VOTE COUNTS!
